01Data controller

Romain JACQUEL, sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) trading as J-Labs, is the controller for personal data processing carried out for the Pacecraft service.

Address: 9 Promenade Thérèse Peltier, ground floor flat C002, 31500 Toulouse, France. SIREN: 989 180 690. Contact: contact@pacecraft.gg — Telephone: +33 7 71 24 19 96.

02What we collect

Your account: email address, public handle, represented country, language, and a bio if you write one. Your password is never stored in clear — only a cryptographic hash of it.

Your content: car setups and their versions, notes, your self-reported driver profile, and the coaching tips you keep.

Your telemetry: lap times, validity, track conditions, and for every analysed lap a position-by-position trace of speed, throttle and brake. That trace describes the way you drive.

Your AI usage: which feature, which model, the volume processed, the cost and the credits charged.

Your devices: the name you give your PC, its platform, the agent's version and paths needed to synchronise games. Your Windows profile directory is replaced with a generic location before transmission.

Billing information: transaction and subscription identifiers, amounts, taxes and billing country. We do not store card numbers or bank account details.

Clicks on locked features may be recorded to understand users' needs.

03Cookies and security

Pacecraft uses cookies strictly necessary for sign-in and protection against forged requests, as well as browser storage for sign-in state and preferences. These mechanisms support the operation and security of the service.

Pacecraft does not embed advertising trackers or third-party audience analytics. The external checkout is also governed by its operator's privacy policy.

IP addresses are processed to route requests and protect the service against abuse. Privileged administration actions are recorded in a security log that includes the administrator's IP address.

04What is public

Your handle, your represented country, your bio, and the setups you publish.

Your best lap times on the leaderboards. You can opt out at any time from your settings: opting out removes you from the pilot and nation rankings, and also excludes your laps from the pooling described below.

05Pooled fuel consumption

The fuel calculator uses the consumption your simulator measures, rather than an estimate produced by an AI.

When you have no measured lap with the requested car, the calculation falls back to a median of laps measured by other pilots. At least three laps are required, and only two values per lap are read: the litres burnt and the lap's duration. No identity is exposed — the displayed result is a number of litres together with how many laps it aggregates.

Pilots who have opted out of the leaderboards do not contribute to this pooling, but still benefit from it: refusing to publish your data is not giving up reading an aggregate.

06What is shared with third parties

AI providers (Anthropic and OpenAI, United States): your setups, your self-reported driver profile and observations derived from your telemetry. Neither your email address nor your account identifier is sent to them.

Stripe, under the Link brand (Ireland and the United States depending on which entity processes the payment), when you purchase through it: your email address and account identifier, needed to attach the subscription. As reseller, it also processes data for billing and its own obligations under its privacy policy.

Brevo (France): your email address, for account verification messages.

DigitalOcean, LLC (a company based in the United States): hosting of service data. The country of the host's headquarters does not, by itself, identify the data centre's location.

No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising purposes.

Data processing agreements, the hosting location and safeguards for transfers outside the European Economic Area remain to be verified for each provider. Details of these safeguards and how to obtain a copy must be specified here.

07For how long

Your account data, setups and analyses are retained so you can use the service and access your history. You may request deletion of your account.

A purge of laps and telemetry can be enabled. It preserves record laps, best laps associated with setups and laps with an analysis. Without an active purge, this data remains until it is deleted, including on account deletion.

Detailed AI usage is scheduled for deletion after 400 days when its purge is enabled; aggregated totals per period remain associated with the account.

Accounting records subject to a statutory retention requirement must be kept for ten years. Account deletion does not remove those records.

The actual retention periods for telemetry and AI usage must be confirmed for the live service. Retention limits for inactive accounts, administration logs, fuel calculation history and feature-interest measurements remain to be defined and implemented. No automatic deletion after 36 months or 12 months is currently announced for this data.

08Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction, its erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and object to its publication on the leaderboards.

These requests are made to contact@pacecraft.gg. You will receive a reply within one month.

Deleting your account erases your laps, telemetry, analyses and usage ledger. Accounting entries retained in Pacecraft are disassociated from the account; transaction identifiers remain for accounting obligations. Data retained by the reseller is subject to its own obligations.

The represented country cannot be changed after it is chosen, in order to preserve the integrity of the rankings. Support can correct a mistake, with a mandatory reason and an audit trail.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07 — www.cnil.fr.

09Legal basis

Performance of the contract (article 6.1.b GDPR): managing your account, hosting and synchronising your setups, collecting and analysing your telemetry, the AI-assisted features you trigger, and billing.

Legal obligation (article 6.1.c): keeping accounting records for ten years.

You choose the visibility of your setups when publishing them and may withdraw your content. You may also opt out of the leaderboards in your account settings.

Legitimate interest (article 6.1.f) is being considered for logging privileged administration actions for security purposes and for pooling fuel consumption. For the latter, only two values per lap are read, no identity is exposed, the displayed result aggregates at least three laps, and opting out is available at any time from your settings with no loss of functionality.

The legal basis for public profiles, represented countries and leaderboards, and for feature-interest measurements, remains to be validated. The option to leave a leaderboard does not, by itself, constitute prior consent. The balancing assessments required for processing based on legitimate interest remain to be documented.
